penny eisenberg is a Canadian painter working within the tradition of representational

art. Her work explores different themes, landscapes, still lives, urbanscapes, and

focuses on ideas around how paint and representation interact, intersect and diverge.

penny was born and raised in Montreal, graduated from Emily Carr University in 1995,

and maintains her studio practice in east Vancouver. She has exhibited in both public

and commercial galleries, and has had group and solo exhibitions.  Her work is held in

private and public collections in Canada,, England, Germany,Taiwan and United States.

She has been painting for over twenty-five years.
